Michael Wade studied Environmental Engineering at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2007, and began working in the field of environmental engineering with Sperling Hansen Associates in 2008.  His interest in the environment in general and the field of solid waste management in particular led him to seek work in this exciting and relevant activity.  His work in the field of chemical analysis is especially relevant in light of increasing awareness of the environmental impact of pollution.  His main responsibilities include QA/QC inspections of landfill closure projects,  siting of new landfills and sample collection for responsible landfill management.
