Scott Garthwaite began work with SHA in May, 2007 as a Civil Technologist. His main responsibilities include Construction Management, Landfill Surveying, Material Management and Costing, QA/QC Inspections and Drafting. He works as a team member on a number of projects such as Design and Operations Plans, Closures, AutoCad Design Drawings, and Annual Monitoring Reports. Over the summers of 2009 and 2010 Scott was responsible for the QA/QC program for the construction of a 14.0 HA geomembrane closure system at Vancouver Landfill in Delta B.C.  Scott has gained his construction experience throughout B.C. at numerous landfill sites, some of which include; Salmon Arm, Fernie, 7-Mile (Port McNeil), Terrace, Mission Flats (Kamloops), Gibraltar (Williams Lake), Hope and Squamish.  Of special interest, over the past 2 years, Scott has been an instructor at the SWANA B.C. Qualified Landfill Operator Courses (BCQLO).
