Sperling Hansen Associates provided design drawings, tender specifications and construction
inspection services for a PVC membrane closure of the 1.0 ha North Ravine Area.

An impervious barrier was constructed to prevent re-activation of landfill fires that have occurred
in the area for the past seven years.

SHA's design includes:

a PVC membrane,
a HDPE gas collection system,
a biosolids enhanced top soil layer.
